5th Grade Students
The 5th grade has been learning about the Surrealist artist Magritte. Magritte painted really unique 'dreamlike' paintings by combining two objects to make a new third object or placing objects in unusual environments. Look at the two paintings above by this artist and post whether you like or dislike his artwork and why.
I really like his artworks because they are unique and they have cool details.

The picture is cool, but I think that it should have more balance between train and the fireplace.
This artwork that has the train coming out of the fireplace is traintastic because the train looks like it is coming out of the fireplace. This picture is just SO traintastic!

ReplyDeleteI like it because the artist was very creative. I like the way the door opened and a cloud was coming in. It reminds to me to use my imagination.

ReplyDeleteI love this artwork because the train pops out so well and its 3D.The train is so solid . Plus , when you look at the picture the train cathes your eye !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
